Hi! well... about clubs the best one a know is the Quartas Trans Party, which is at Lapa, you can also find some awesome tgatas in the Augusto Severo Street at night, this is next to Glória subway station, I go there often, if you wanna hang out and get to know some hot tgatas, please let me know. Oh! By the way, I`m straight, in case you're wondering. Hahahahha

I know very little portuguese, so, i think its better to use english like a lingua franca, right?

Unlike BA, most of the good tgata action is on the streets. There are occasional parties (the quarta trans festas) in Lapa, but Av. Augusto Severo is your best bet. Good luck/bueno suerte/boa sorte!
